SAFARI day #1 (6-17-09)

We freaking went on Safari today! We started out at 9 and drove to the game park. I was in a truck with Thiersten, Ashley, Rachel, and Nate. We saw an elephant and some giraffes. We went to a hippo pond and saw zebras running behind them. It was incredible and so pretty. For lunch we ate a huge donut, 2 fried samosas, fried chicken, a pancake, and cookies, it was all cold and really bad. After lunch at one point after lunch this elephant got really close to our truck and we saw family of elephants with two babies it was really sweet. We drove to hotel which was amazing. they had there own mid size garden which we walked through or at least some of us. We had hot pressurized showers and a nice dinner. What an awesome day!
